"Are you good at justifying yourself?" -- I'll ask that to my next interviewee

"you'd better!"

Especially if you are applying for a QA job

and the company has been implementing this process called 'SCRUM'

For about a couple of months now, that has been one of my main duties as a QA lead. I have had to justify every single activity that my QA team does in a sprint for a Product Backlog Item(PBI); From the rules and policies of automation script codes to a bug that I think should be fixed in the context of a PBI in the sprint instead of being pushed to the next sprint.

And honestly, I am tired of being questioned on QA activities by people who are not expertised on it as much as I am; well SORRY but it's true. I didn't say I'm more expertised on development than you are.

and I often miss waterfall.

But it doesn't mean SCRUM totally 100% sucks. There must be something good about it, something really good at improving quality while not synchronizing QA eyes with Dev eyes.

::SCRUM MayHem, started here.
