May 18, 2009 - Celtics Season Ends - One Series Too Soon

The Boston Celtics' run as NBA Champion came to an end last night.

They were able to squeak by the young Chicago Bulls in seven, but couldn't make it past the Orlando Magic. They looked old, and tired.

I doubt that anyone thinks they could make it past the Cleveland Cavaliers without Kevin Garnett and Leon Powe, so it's likely the next series would have been their last anyway.

Still a disappointing end.
