July 23, 2008 - All Things Quality is the Very Definition of a Quality Blog!

I periodically review the stats from this blog using my StatCounter dashboard.  Among other things, this lets me see what pages are of interest, where people are arriving from, and how they get here.

While doing so over the past few weeks, I started to see a trend.  It seems that more and more often, folks are arriving here through Google definitions.

From Google's help page:

To see a definition for a word or phrase, simply type the word "define" then a space, then the word(s) you want defined. To see a list of different definitions from various online sources, you can type "define:" followed by a word or phrase. Note that the results will define the entire phrase.

So I explored a bit using the phrases people were using when they found ATQ.

It turns out that for some phrases, All Things Quality is currently the only response returned.  That's rather surprising, I think.
