October 30, 2007 - It's Not Quite Time To Fall Back Yet!

This year's later ending for Daylight Saving Time seemed to go reasonably well.

 

Daylight Saving Time used to end on the last weekend in October, but was pushed back by Congress to the first weekend in November.

 

There have been reports of some devices not handling the delayed switch back to Standard Time correctly, but very few.

Thousands of people in New York, Chicago, San Francisco and elsewhere have called city information lines just to ask what time it is.
