August 26, 2007 - Perhaps They Should Have Tested More - Amtrak

The entire Amtrak ticketing system was down for over a day due to a problem "caused by recently installed software."

 

A spokesperson indicated "This did not cause any delays to the train operation."

 

Can we assume the empty trains operated without delay?
