(New England Patriots Training Camp - 2007)

We made our annual trip to the New England Patriots Training Camp.

A few observations:

  • Record crowds on hand every day of camp.
  • Randy Moss is really smooth.  He can catch the ball in stride better than anyone I've ever seen.
  • Adalius Thomas is really big for a linebacker.  He was hanging out with Tedi Bruschi - hopefully absorbing the details of the Pats defense.
  • The crowd cheers for everything.  At one point, the offense had to do a penalty lap around the field for jumping offsides.  They got a wild round of applause from the crowd!
  • One fan had a Lonnie Paxton jersey on and a sign that read "I just want a hug, Lonnie!"  I had never seen a Paxton jersey before.
