An article about All Things Quality - in Hebrew!
In August of 2010, I was asked by Joel Montvelisky of PractiTest, if he could write about All Things Quality in a new magazine - ThinkTesting.

Which New England Patriot are you?
I prioritize substance and preparation over style and glibness. Plus, I like wearing hoodies.
Since it's the bye week for the New England Patriots, local writers are scrambling for material to fill the sports pages. The Boston Globe's Boston.com website posted a little quiz recently (http://www.boston.com/sports/football/patriots/extras/which_patriot_are_you/).

A lark. (Not actually me)
I am a morning person. I like getting up reasonably early, and find that I am most productive before noon. According to "Brain Rules" by John Medina, this apparently makes me a "lark". Read more at: Any comments on this article? Email Me And so it goesOver the last week or so the computer industry has lost two giants/innovators. First being Steve Jobs. Nuff said on that one. Second is Dennis Ritchie, co-creator of the C programming language and UNIX. I think the following comment by a reader of an article about Dennis Ritchie is an appropriate RIP for him: #include
int main(int argc, char** argv). { ... fprintf(stdout, "Goodbye World!\n");. exit(0);. } For those of you who cut your professional teeth in programming with C you know this is a play on the famous "Hello World!".
I learned C my last year of college in 1986 and it helped me get my first job in programming/testing at a commercial software company. I've used the language off and on over the years for various things (like LoadRunner web scripting). I have an original copy of "The C Programming Language" by Kerninghan & Ritchie buried somewhere in all my books.
As a tribute to both Steve Jobs and Dennis Ritchie I say thank you for your contributions, and for providing me with a career and livelyhood for the last 23 years. I tip my glass to you.
RIP.

When reporting status to my boss, we have worked out a format that works well for both of us. It conveys an entire year's worth of information, yet lets us focus on just the past few weeks as we discuss it in our weekly one-on-one meeting. I can also print just the currently-relevant portion easily, and bring it with me.
